16.1.1 This Agreement does not affect the statutory rights of any party, including those acting as consumers. For consumers in New Zealand who purchase the Software for personal, domestic or household use (and not for business purposes), for example, this Agreement is governed by the Consumer Warranties Act. 16.5.2 Terms and Conditions. The purchase, use and reliance on digital certificates is the responsibility of the customer and a certificate authority. Before relying on certified documents, digital signatures, or CA services, the customer should review the applicable terms under which the relevant CA provides services, including, for example, all subscriber contracts, relying party agreements, certificate policies, and statements of assurance. For more information about Adobe`s CDS vendors, see the links to www.adobe.com/go/partners_cds and www.adobe.com/go/aatl information about AATL providers. 16.12 Flash Builder with LiveCycle Data Services (LCDS) Data Management Library. Adobe Flash Builder can include the fds.swc library. Customer may use fds.swc only to provide client-side data management features and as an output file in the file developed by Customer, subject to the following conditions: Customer may not (a) use fds.swc to enable offline associations or features in the Software, or (b) integrate fds.swc into software similar to Adobe LiveCycle Data Services or BlazeDS. If Customer wishes to perform any of the above steps, Customer must request a separate license from Adobe. 14.4 Opt-out. Customer may disable and uninstall the Software from its computer in order to install and activate the Software on another computer in accordance with this Agreement (“Deactivation”) and as further described in www.adobe.com/go/activation.
An Internet connection is required for deactivation. 14.1 Automatic Internet Connections. The Software may cause Customer`s computer to automatically connect to the Internet and communicate with an Adobe website or Domain without notice, by . B for license validation and to provide additional information, features or functionality to the Customer. Except as otherwise provided in Sections 14.2 to 14.7, the following applies to all automatic Internet connections through the Software: 2.6 Copies of the Documentation. Customer may make copies of the Documentation for its own internal use in connection with the use of the Software in accordance with this Agreement, but no more than the amount reasonably required. 16.8.3 For each individual Extended Document, Customer may (a) provide such Extended Document only to an unlimited number of unique recipients, but Customer may not extract or cause to be extracted information from more than five hundred (500) unique instances of such Extended Document or a printed representation of such Extended Document containing completed form fields, be extracted; or (b) provide this Extended Document to a maximum of five hundred (500) unique recipients without limiting the frequency with which Customer may retrieve information from this Extended Document returned to Customer in its entirety by such recipients. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, purchasing additional licenses to use Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro, or Adobe Acrobat Suite does not increase the above limitations (i.e., the above limitations are the total limits, regardless of the number of additional licenses the customer has received for using Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro, or Adobe Acrobat Suite). 2.3 Content Files.
Unless otherwise specified in the “Readme” files, documentation, or other licenses associated with the Content Files, Customer may use, display, modify, reproduce, and distribute the Content Files. However, Customer may not independently distribute the Content Files (i.e., in circumstances where the Content Files represent the primary value of the Distributed Product), and Customer may not claim trademark rights in the Content Files or their derivative works. Nothing in this document will affect the ownership of the Software as set forth in Section 3. 16.4.1 Provided by Adobe. The Software facilitates Customer`s access to content and various services hosted on websites operated by Adobe or its affiliates (“Adobe Online Services”). Examples of such Adobe online services include Adobe BrowserLab, Adobe CS Review, Business Catalyst, Digital Publishing Suite, Acrobat.com, Help Search, and Product Splash Screens. In some cases, an Adobe online service may be displayed as a feature or extension in the software, even if it is hosted on a website. Access to an Adobe Online Service may require Customer to activate the Software, obtain an Adobe ID, agree to additional terms of use, or charge a separate fee to access such Adobe Online Services. Adobe Online Services may not be available in all languages or for residents of all countries, and Adobe may change or discontinue the availability of Adobe Online Services at any time and for any reason. Adobe also reserves the right to charge a fee for accessing or using any Adobe online service previously offered free of charge. Section 14 contains important information about the Customer`s Internet connection and privacy.
As set forth in Section 14, Customer`s use of that Adobe Online Service when accessing an Adobe Online Service is subject to Adobe`s Privacy Policy (www.adobe.com/go/privacy), Adobe.com Terms of Service (www.adobe.com/go/terms), and any Additional Terms of Use presented to Customer at that time. 16.5.1 Use. Digital certificates are issued by third-party certificate authorities, including Adobe Certified Document Services (CDS) vendors listed on www.adobe.com/go/partners_cds and Adobe Approved Trust List (“AATL”) vendors listed on www.adobe.com/go/aatl (collectively, “Certification Authorities”), or may be self-signed. . . .
